EMSDOCS was originally founded in 2004 under the name of Emergency Medicine Associates of San Juan County.  As the service advanced throughout the years, we have restructured our business into the current EMSDOCS. 

We currently provide direction to services in NM, CO, AZ and NV.  Our long term goal is to help all EMS agencies, including private business with EMS responsibilities,  in the southwestern United States to be unified in the care delivery model.

Dr. Campbell graduated from New Mexico Highlands University 1994, where he was a four year letterman in football, receiving numerous awards and accolades. His highest honor was being inducted into the NMHU Hall of Fame 2020. He received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from The University of Health Science, Kansas City 1998. He completed an Emergency medicine residency at Doctors Hospital, Columbus OH in 2002.  Laughingly, he did appear in two episodes of Trauma: Life in the ER.  He is currently AOBEM Board Certified in Emergency medicine. Dr. Campbell has been a practicing in NM since 2004 in EM and has been an EMS medical director since 2005. Dr. Campbell has specific experience and proven leadership in all aspects of emergency medicine and prehospital medicine: Maintains current Medical licensure in NM, CO, AZ, and NV. In addition to the above Dr. Campbell continues to be a practicing Emergency Physician in Arizona.  


Dr. Campbell is married and has four grown children and nine grandchildren. He can usually be found in the mountains or at a baseball field enjoying life.
